The day has come for me to say goodbye. I have been Editor of Chat it’s fate for 16 wonderful years.

In that time, I have met very many special people: our contributors, my team, and of course, you the readers. I feel sad on many levels, but a happy future beckons. When I get a bit blue, I will remind myself of the immortal words of Dr Seuss: ‘Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.’ Thank you.
