Magic connection

W hen I was a little girl, my Irish grandma Kathleen used to teach me how to tell people’s fortune using playing cards. She also used to tell me stories of her home country, explaining how she regularly used to see banshees – female ghosts with long hair. ‘I saw one sitting on the roof of a house,’ she said. ‘The person who lived there had just died.’ She wore a quartz crystal necklace, which she said was magic. She used it as a pendulum and when I got older, she’d answer my questions when I was upset over love or friendships. Sadly, she died when I was 25, with my family gathered around her bed. My mum ensured she was cremated in her favourite necklace as it had meant so much to her. Today, I’m carrying on my grandmother’s gift and work as a full-time psychic. We’re never apart for long as she often visits me in my dreams.
