It’s 30ft long, 19ft high and it breathes fire. Meet Heavy Meta, the world’s first dragon art car. Inventor Kevin Bracken and his Toronto mates have created this pyrotechni­c wonder out of an old school bus, radically mutating it with sheet metal and flame effects into a magnificen­t mobile dragon. A dragon with a DJ booth, booming on sound system and room for 30 people to boogie it a disco ball heart. down – Bracken’s artist wife Marie Poliak gave Heavy Meta debuted at Burning Man, the birthplace of mutant vehicles, and is available for music festivals across North America. This $40,000 labour of love (neither Bracken or Poliak or their team were paid for the work) exists only because of donations.
