Fill your cauldron with water and float candles on it to represent your wishes and intentions. It’s good to do this with a group of you, because the water is also \ a symbol of bonding and shared feelings.

To spread goodwill, bubble up a warming concoction. Dedicate your cauldron to the Goddess by running it under spring water, asking for the power of the Earth Mother to fill it. For a cheering soup, choose organic, local produce. Add potatoes for healing and protection, carrots for fertility and coriander for love. Garlic is sacred to Hecate and gives protection, salt purifies you and pepper drives away evil. Liquidise and stir, chanting, ‘Bubble bubble joyful guzzle’ and serve to lucky guests!
