Katie says, ‘I had a tough time growing up and people were very nasty to me at elementary school.

With the help of friends and family, I got through it.

Now I’m so proud of what I have achieved. I love modelling. It makes me feel great, and I can’t wait to do more in the future.

I haven’t seen anybody with Down’s syndrome be a model, and I hope I have encouraged others to follow their dreams, no matter what the stereotypes are.’
