I won £6,607 while I watched my fave soap!

Thrilled, now I’m off to get some rays!

- By Carol Hose, 63, from Rushden

Taking off my coat and shoes, I called out to my 29-year-old daughter to pop the kettle on!

I owned a little cleaning company, and was on my feet most of the day, so when I got home, I’d flop down on the sofa and watch the soaps.

And sometimes I’d have a go on Chat Mag Bingo.

I’d gone to the bingo hall when I was younger, but it had got quieter and now everyone was raving about online bingo. Let’s see what the fuss is about, I thought, several years ago. And I loved it! I enjoyed 75 and 90-ball bingo games and the slots. Plus you can try demo games for free to see if you like them. I’ve two younger sisters and two younger brothers, and we live just a stone’s throw away from each other. Recently, I’d gone to visit my sister round the corner. Once I got home, I had tea, watched soaps. While the TV was on, I played bingo. There was an offer on Round the Clock 75-ball bingo. Tickets were 10p and, if you bought six, you got one free. So I bought six and watched the game play out. A few of my numbers came up and were automatically marked off my cards. Then a couple more popped up and soon, I just wanted one! Come on, 19! I thought. And, suddenly, 19 was called! I’d won £171 – brilliant! But the screen flashed with my name, and my balance had gone up by over £6,000!

My daughter came to check.

‘You’ve won £6,607!’ she cried.

So on top of the full house prize, I’d won £6,778 in total.

My full house had been called within a set number of ball calls. So I’d won £6,607!

I used my winnings to get a lovely little runaround.

And my eldest daughter, 31, had just had my first grandson, so I put money in an account for him. Family is my world.

Then I booked a holiday to Lanzarote and will be off soon!

So, ‘ Salud, Chat Mag Bingo!’ – that’s cheers in Spanish.

Bring on the sun and sangria!

‘ Salud Chat Mag Bingo!’
