I won £1,000 while I was chatting in the kitchen!
As a teaching assistant, the last few days before the holidays are very hectic. Plus I’ve my own two teenage lads to look after. We live in Rochdale with my husband Kevin, 45. When I get a break, I put my feet up and play bingo. Back in 2013, I joined Chat Mag Bingo and really loved it.
The best thing about Chat Mag Bingo is the chatrooms – we natter about the game and I’ve made lots of friends.
You don’t have to spend a lot. I often spend just 10p on a game. There are even games for 1p! So, on 20 December last year, I waved the excited kids off and once I go home, I could relax.
I bought a 10p ticket for the Link game which started at 9pm in Emerald – it’s a 90-ball bingo room and the game is linked with other rooms for a £1,000 Full House.
I love that you can buy a ticket, do something else, and the game plays itself.
I went into the kitchen to chat to Kevin and the lads and, when I went into the living room later, I looked at my account.
Then I let out a little shriek and Kevin came running in. ‘I’ve won!’ I squealed. ‘Oh, my God, love – you’ve just won £1,000!’ he cried.
I just play for fun, but it’s always a bonus if you win!
I’d only spent 10p on a ticket and ended up winning £1,000!
We had one of the best school holidays ever and the family got extra Christmas presents.
I can’t thank Chat Mag Bingo enough and it just goes to show you don’t have to spend a lot.
