Stroll along the Cobb

3 Go for a ramble along the Cobb – famously portrayed in The French Lieutenant’s Woman. The curving stone breakwater provides lovely vistas of the pretty bay and the bobbing boats in the little harbour. From here you can see all the way to Portland Bill, Weymouth and beyond, and the huge skies and shimmering sea constantly shift and change in the light and wind.
