Still sitting on the indoor fence

- Woman In Business with Dawn Gracie

The world seems to be changing at a rapid speed and it’s feeling hard to keep up. I’d go as far as to say overwhelming.

Personally I haven’t rushed to the hairdressers as I seem to live most of my online life wearing wigs, and I haven’t rushed into town because I’m still nervous about how irresponsible people are being about sensible precautions.

I take off my top hat to all of the shops and salons who have gone to huge lengths to make physical and operational changes to their businesses to become Covid compliant – I can only imagine the cost and headache it must have caused so that shoppers are kept safe.

The latest news of compulsory face-mask-wearing is an interesting one and I’m sure most people are scratching their heads wondering why the rule wasn’t brought in sooner.

After all, we’re being led to believe that we have this thing under control, yet now we have new protection rules coming intop place. Surely all those months ago is when we really needed to have strict mask rules? It’s all so baffling and it just feels easier to stay put and sit it out

As a note, I haven’t rushed out to offer myself for outdoor gigs either. I am still sitting on the (indoor) fence.
