Indivision one of the SCFL, Midhurst drew 1-1 at hometo Arundel while Selsey were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Billingshurst.
In midweek, Selsey were drawing 0-0 at Wick when power failure meant the game had to be abandoned, while Midhurst won 2-0 at home to Oakwood.
Bosham 2 Littlehampt’n U 0 SCFL division two
Bosham manager Tony Hancock was impressed as Bosham put on their best display of the campaign so far.
With a win much needed after early season results, Bosham broke through on eight minutes thanks to Josh Mines.
He picked the ball up on the left and hit a wonderful curling effort, into the top corner with keeper Dean Brook-marsh, rooted to the spot.
Bosh am should have doubled their lead on the quarter-hour through Nathaniel monk as he latched on to a through-ball from Alex Barnes and rounded Brook-marsh, but he found the side nettingle.
For Littlehampton Tom Foxon had an effort well saved by Jack Hickman.
Monk’s shot went just wide with Brook-marsh well beaten.
Foxon, Jonathan Hendrick and George Sayers all had opportunities for Littlehampton before Bosh am captain Nick Edging ton doubled the hosts’ lead right on half-time.

into the bottom corner.
Bosham sub Ollie Hawkins could have added to the tally in the secondhalf.
Bosh am secured their first win of the campaign and will look to take the confidence from it at Worthing Town this weekend. Bosham U15s 2 Lancing Rangers 4
Bosham put in a solid effort
against Lancingrangers, but lost 4-2.
A late change of venue to Southbourne did not deter them and they led after four minutes, with Isaac Semedo set up by Theo West.
Lancing equalised two minutes later and onl 35 minutes, Lancing scored again; – quickly followed by two more goals from them just before half-time.
With several substitutions, including a debut for Cameron Davey in goal, Bosham had hope. A cracking goal from Barney Mclarnon 20 minutes in kept Bosham’s spirits high.

East Dean 4 Storrington Res 2 WSFL Champ south
This most uncertain of seasons finally began for East Dean at home to Storrington Community Reserves.
Joby Oram’ s first competitive game in charge got of to a great start as Ollie Hagger was bought down by the keeper, and Aaron Freeman fired East Dean into an early lead.
Another goal came for Freeman as a well-worked move down the right ended with Haggar setting him up.
Storrington found an early goal in the second half but East Dean made it 3-1 when great movement from Dan Richards allowed Zach Dray space to tee up Freeman to complete his hat-trick from 30 yards.
Freeman set up Dray for the fourth. There were further chances for Freeman, Haggar, Dray, Simon Reed and Ben Pett.
Oram said: “It’s been a very difficult pre-season, but it’s all come together nicely and the lads put in a fantastic team performance.”
