The Rule of Sixth

-

The Sixth Form at St Philip Howard Catholic School is a vibrant community that looks to develop each individual in preparation for life beyond school.

As well as achieving outstanding academic results, our students are given numerous opportunities to develop skills through a variety of experiences and responsibilities during their two years with us.

Our Sixth Form Leadership

Team are led by the brilliant Deva and Ben, who both work closely with the Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Nesta Mcneil and our Headteacher, Mr David Carter.

Not only are they heavily involved with speaking publicly to prospective students and their parents, they also lead a number of teams within the Sixth Form. These include the Charity and Outreach Team, the Student Experience Team, the Student

Wellbeing Team and Student Voice Team.

All Sixth Formers are encouraged to take on different roles and responsibilities during their time with us.

The teams enhance students’ communication and teamwork experiences, both of which are transferable skills for life at University or in the world of apprenticeships and work.

Our one to one careers guidance is outstanding and these developed skill sets have proved invaluable for interviews with universities and employers, really setting an SPH Sixth Former apart from other candidates.

If you are interested in gaining any further information about the Sixth Form at SPH, please do join us for our Virtual Open evening on November 12, 2020, with more details at www. sphsixthform.co.uk
