Madonna's Cadillac

-

Dear Classic American,

Having just enjoyed your TV and Film Car Special edition, it got me thinking about my old ' 86 Cadillac Fleetwood which featured in the video for a Madonna song called Four Minutes (it's on YouTube if you want to see her sliding down the bonnet!)

This was before my ownership and not the reason I bought the car but I thought it was a fun fact and its celebrity history added a bit to its charm for me. Unfortunately I had to sell it in December 2012 (to pay for a boiler, of all things!) and I would love to know its whereabouts (or fate) now - perhaps one of your readers may know? According to the DVLA it is currently SORN, having last changed hands in July 2015 and its MoT expiring a year later (reg is C474 BNX).

It was my first American car which I have very fond memories of and I do hope it is still intact somewhere and gets a new lease of life someday.

PS The best part of any month is when my copy of Classic American drops through the letterbox!

Thanks so much for your Jetter and the pictures of your Cadillac

what a shame you had to part ways over a boiler! We Jove those square-rigger Cadillacs of the Eighties and Madonna seemed to have a phase of having UK-based American cars in her videos, like in the video for What It Feels Like for a Girl, in which a couple of Camaros featured; we suspect also filmed in the UK, presumably when she was married to Guy Ritchie and based in London. Anyone know the whereabouts of C474 BNX?
