Both Norvil’s Les Emery and John Dunn from the Norton Owners Club tell me that an Smiths anticlockwise speedo drive is available. It’s produced for the 850 Commando, but it was worth me going to the trouble of converting a clockwise one to anticlockwise (CB February), because the late Commando used Veglia clocks so the drive ratio is 1.25:1; the Norvin’s chronometric speedo needs 2:1 – besides, it saved me the cost of buying one...
