all along. Now then, back in my Honda shop days, trials customers reckoned fitting an extra base gasket on the TLR250 reduced compression enough to soften power delivery. It sounded like nonsense at the time but it must have been the squish not compression reduction that made the difference.

Pity I didn’t know that back then…
