I picked up this small torque wrench from somewhere and welded on a ring spanner so we can accurately torque the base nuts down on Triumphs.

Not only does this extension rod make it easier to pull the fork damper rods up in Norton forks, it also allows you to check the action of the dampers independently.

Piston valve pocket cutter

By grinding a cutting edge into an old valve, you can fit it into the head and mark or even cut the piston valve pockets in exactly the right place.
