The 1988 Eight Hour World En­durance race saw SERT Suzuki GSX-R750 pair­ing Herve Moineau and Bruno le Bi­han clock 259laps/507.64 miles. The vic­to­ri­ous French duo dom­i­nated the eight-round series. Clas­sic Bike con­trib­u­tor Mat Ox­ley, rid­ing with Ge­off Fowler, fin­ished three laps adrift in sec­ond place on a Team Bike Yamaha.
