Five different riders, five different tuners. This shot (above) is typical of the hectic AMA Superbike action that went off during the 1978 season. The pot-holed track is Loudon in New Hampshire, and the big guns going for it are: Reg Pridmore (De Roches-tuned Kawasaki); Mike Baldwin (Reno Leoni– tuned Moto Guzzi); Paul Ritter (Dale Newton-tuned Ducati), Erik Buell (Buelltuned Ducati); and Ron Pierce (Yoshimura-tuned Suzuki).
