Piston-ported, 54 x 54mm, air-cooled 125cc engine uses a Yamaha RD250 conrod and a Honda CR125 piston. It was originally used in a sprint bike by Bantam racing pioneer Tom Miller. It’s suffered a blow-up in the past, but has had the crankcases welded up and remachined – just about everything is repairable in Bantam Racing World. Hydraulic clutch uses 10 springs (standard is six) and all-steel plates. Elektron flat-slide carb dates from the ’70s.
