A fascinating counterpoint to the all-out commercialism of Stafford and, in some ways, a throwback to the good old days. This is an autojumble owned and run by a club and retains something of an old-time atmosphere, with a good mix of ‘professional’ jumblers and everyday classic enthusiasts having a clear-out of the shed. The VMCC are quite picky about what they allow stallholders to sell – which means that, while there might not be the number of pitches you’ll find at Stafford, what’s on offer might well be of more interest. And there’s still a chance of landing a good deal. Give it a go.
