Grand Prix legend and multi-world champion ‘Fast’ Freddie Spencer is already confirmed as star guest for this year’s MCN Festival of Motorcycling and the likeable American is worth the ticket price alone. The outrageously talented Spencer – who won both the 500 and 250 titles in 1985 – will be on hand throughout the weekend to share stories of his on-track battles with the greats of the two-stroke GP era. And there’s plenty more at Peterborough for classic fans. Promised for the Motorex Fire-up Paddock is plenty of raceware including the iconic 1962 Honda RC145 250cc four, the incredible Marsh four from ’64, an ex-phil Read ’74 MV 500 four and a ’72 Yamaha TZ700.
This year’s MCN Festival will be just as good as the last one
