Summer sizzler
High summer, a cracking venue in the heart of glorious West Sussex and classic bikes. What better way to spend a Sunday? As usual at Elk Promotions shows, private entrants who display their bikes get a free entry pass and there’s no restriction on the age of bikes at this show, so later classics are more than welcome. Dig out your RC30, OW01 or what have you and head for Ardingly. There’s plenty to see under cover – essential in the British summer – and plenty more outside, with a large autojumble, bikes for sale display area and special ‘garage clear-out’ plots available for just £10. Look sharp in the morning, though, the show opens at 10am, closes at 2.30pm and last admissions are at 1.30pm prompt.
