MAY THE FOURS BE WITH YOU

Back when I started biking in the mid-’70s on my Honda CB125, there were two bikes I always dreamed of owning: a Honda 400 Four and a Triumph Bonneville. It wasn’t too many years before I had my 400 Four, but I had to wait a bit longer for my Bonneville. The end-of-the-year run with a couple of my friends was something I’ve always looked forward to – and here we are at our lunch stop in County Fermanagh. Tim was on one of the first CBR600S, the maroon 400 Four was John’s and mine was the yellow one in the middle. The bikes were pretty colourful then, and brightly coloured Belstaff and Rukka waterproofs were the order of the day. Keith Livingstone
