OUTSTANDING USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
THE ROVER P6 CLUB The Rover P6 Club is active on several social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. It says it does not use these channels simply for ‘having a presence’ or generating social chat, but instead as part of an integrated digital marketing strategy to promote awareness in the car as well as the club.

OUTSTANDING SUPPORT OF NEXT GENERATION
MMOC YOUNG MEMBERS REGISTER The Morris Minor Owners Club Young Members Register seeks to identify Morris Minor owners of the next generation. It works hard to encourage youngsters into the club scene who would not necessarily go out and join the main owners club due to misconceptions of how they might be greeted. The register aims to break down these barriers and use social media and regional and national meets to encourage the new generation of owners.

OUTSTANDING CAR CLUB EVENT (RUN OR RALLY)
SCIROCCO REGISTER Scirocco Register’s National Meet is an event that has
grown consistently over recent years – and 2016 is their 20th anniversary year. The meet begins for most
well before the 10am official start time with club arranged convoys bringing in cars from throughout the UK and as far away as the Netherlands. These then descend onto Telford Services before the traditional mass convoy to the event at RAF Cosford.

NATIONAL CAR CLUB AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR
JOHN SMITH - VOLVO OWNERS CLUB It is nigh on impossible to talk about the Volvo Owners Club without including John Smith in one context or another. John joined in 1973 and has held various offices in the club culminating in being part of the managing board. Even an attempt at retirement from his main role ‘just did not happen’ and he remains as active as ever. He is the Volvo Owners Club voice at the end of the ‘phone, known and loved by all.
