Season opener shows why Errol venue is highly regarded by Scotland’s auction-goers

-

The last Saturday of February saw Morris Leslie get its 2016 sales under way, and the number of punters on site well before the 11am start showed just how highly regarded this auction is.

There was enough of a selection without being too big, and for the punter with a limited budget there was still plenty to bid on. Among the lots were two Ford Capri 280 restoration projects, each pulling just over £9000 – and both needing serious amounts of work. Several later Porsches and a Maserati 4200GT added a seriously sporting flavour while a quintet of MG TFs offered affordable, modern classic motoring.

Morris Leslie got its season off to a great start. Its next sale is on 21 May. 01821 642940 www.morrisleslie.co.uk
