GAWSWORTH CLASSIC

This splendid Tudor manor house, which itself has historic motoring connections (the first rally was held there in 1902), is the setting for a Bank Holiday feast of classics. The well-attended event has been running since 1998 and hundreds of classic cars are expected on the day, displayed in the Elizabethan pleasure gardens. As if you weren’t already spoilt for choice, there’s also an autojumble and informal concours to enjoy.
