Modern Classics issue 4 out now
The next instalment of Modern Classics – the Classic Car
Weekly sister magazine dedicated to hero cars of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s – goes on sale today, 13 April.
Issue 4 kicks off with a 15-page celebration of 30 years of the supercar for the man in the street – the Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. The decades are brought together, from RS500 to Sapphire 4x4, and the editorial team picks its favourite.
Elsewhere, Modern Classics straps in to a 500bhp Porsche 911 tuned by RUF, pitches the Vauxhall Monaro against its homeland rival, the Ford Falcon, and rounds up five 1990s V6 coupes that can be yours from just £1000.
There’s more very fast Ford content too, as Ford Escort Cosworth designer Stephen Harper reveals its secrets. The magazine also takes an early production number Honda NSX out for a spin and shows you how to buy a good one, and a rare Rover V8 Tourer makes the trip home to Longbridge. There’s lots more – from readers’ cars to market insight. ■ facebook.com/modernclassicsmagazine
