1963 Ford Consul Corsair 1500 4-dr

-

Slotting in between the Cortina and the Zephyr/Zodiac ranges, the Corsair was designed for the person climbing the social ladder, and who wanted others to notice that. Far less staid than an Oxford or Cambridge, the Corsair, with its Thunderbird-like lines, was a reasonable seller, but perhaps didn’t make the numbers Ford’s bean counters might have liked. This early 1500 could be a great buy for a clued-up enthusiast.
