Let’s not lose sight of the bigger picture – if 150 apprentices every year for the next five years is what it takes to prevent a generation’s worth of restoration skills being lost then there’s a lot more work that still needs to be done. We all need to get behind this, because it’s the next generation of specialists we’ll be counting on to keep the cars we love going in decades to come.
