1929 HE 16/60 Six Sports Tourer
Built near Reading during the 1920s HEs aren’t terribly well known today, but that doesn’t take away from their engineering integrity. The Bentley rival, available in four- and six-cylinder form offered geared and servo-assisted brakes and four-speed gearboxes. Bonhams’ car – thought to be the only surviving short-chassis 16/60hp, has plenty of history, including a tour across the USA in the 1950s.
