Brighton gets an Autorama

A new three-day classic car event, including a major auction, is to make its debut in East Sussex, 8-10 July.

The Brighton Classic Car and Motorcycle Autorama will include a concours, cars for sale area, motorcycles and autojumble. It’s being organised by Falmer Auctions at the Amex Community Stadium on the outskirts of Brighton.

The auction takes place on the Saturday from 12pm, with viewing from 10am the previous day. Sunday will have a concours for cars and bikes, as well as club stands. Entry is free to spectators.

Falmer Auctions says it hopes to make it an annual event. A spokeman says: ‘With Brighton being the destination for so many motor club rallies and the world famous Veteran Car run, this is the ideal location for this wonderful event. It’s a great day out for enthusiasts of all ages.’
