I’d like to think that if I could ever afford to buy a DeLorean DMC-12 that I’d be able to tax it online using the DVLA’s website. Unfortunately, a year after our initial investigation, it turns out I’d still have difficulty doing this one simple task. We pay good money for the privilege to drive on UK roads so you’d like to think the process of paying would be a simple one. I hope the DVLA sorts out these issues fast as it’s causing so much hassle for many of our readers.

On a much brighter note this week, Richard Gunn puts the 1960s Aston Martin DB4 and Jaguar E-type head to head in a great decisive battle. And here’s another gem. I’m a fan of off-road classics so it’s fascinating to read how well a Fiat Panda copes with greenlaning. Enjoy the issue!
