what would you bid for?

It absolutely has to be the 1965 Vanden Plas Princess (see right). A fine car with advanced engineering, Mini-like dynamics, and a luxury interior boasting picnic tables.

the triumph Mayflower it is for me. Its angular lines and smooth curves make it a very attractive looking car. there are few classics of this ilk that come close to matching its value for that estimated price.

they’re all proper classics in this sWVA collection, but I think I’ll go for the Austin seven Wydor because I like what sir herbert did with the words ‘wide’ and ‘door’.

definitely the MkX. It’s a fantastically affordable route into big jaguar ownership and looks wonderful. I need to bid!

daimler limo for me. It’s by far and away one of the ugliest cars (especially from the rear) ever.

the Mk2 jag – so I can pretend to be Inspector Morse and start questioning people in pubs about where they were on the 13th.

I’ve owned a humber sceptre and always wanted to upgrade to a super snipe or beyond. It’s the rolls-royce of rootes.
