As part of its celebration of 35 years of the Vauxhall Cavalier MkII, the Cavalier and Chevette Club will display two of the cars on its stand at the Footman James Manchester Classic Car Show at EventCity, 17-18 September.
They are an antique gold metallic MkII 1.6GL five-door hatchback, plus a blue metallic 1.6L four-door saloon. The latter was once part of the Vauxhall Heritage Centre collection of cars, but is now in private ownership.
The club’s latest survival figures indicate that there are 473 Cavalier MkIIs on the road and 748 on SORN.
A Vauxhall Chevette saloon will also be featured on the club’s stand.
