John Bolster’s Sunbeam for sale

The Sunbeam Alpine press demonstrator used by racing driver and journalist John Bolster is going under the hammer this Saturday (18 February). Coys is auctioning the 1954 Special – one of only 70 cars built – at its Olympia Historic Automobile Fair sale with a £40-50k estimate. An auction spokesman says: ‘ This is one of the most important works Specials built after the six Alpine Rally cars, making it a very rare and highly collectable vehicle.’
