1971 RANGE ROVER

SOLD £33,600

-

Treading the fine line between being properly restored and becoming a super-shiny trailer queen that never gets driven is difficult, but this early Range Rover managed to pull it off.

It was sold off the 1971 Earl’s Court Motor Show stand to a buyer who then sold it on to the current vendor in 2003 after 25 years in storage. Latterly restored, the result was impressive thanks to prior long-term storage, which meant that work started from a good place. This certainly wasn’t a bad buy compared with recent prices paid for similar models.
