Laser’s new brake pipe flaring tool – part 6728 – is targeted at the cramped under-arch conditions of cars like the BMW E34 and Mercedes-Benz W201 and onwards with multi-link suspension and densely packed subframes. Hand-held, the set includes 4.75mm and 3/16in dies and punches and can produce SAE and DIN double/single flares. Simply insert the pipe to the integrated stop, turn the punch with a suitable socket or spanner, and you’re done, creating the flare and final pipe end after feeding it through bodywork for a clean result.
