1947 Alvis TA14 Utility

-

When it comes to post-war upmarket estates, few would be better than an Alvis TA14. Whether meeting guests from a railway station or delivering the lunch to a shooting party – or merely being used as an estate car – it would have been imposing and definitely a cut above a Ford Pilot estate and certainly well above a Jowett Bradford in the status stakes. This car, which could be unique, comes from a private collection and has had a recent re-spray, while the interior appears to be largely original, the auctioneer says.
