1935 ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY SPECIAL MKII TOURING LIMOUSINE
The late Sir Colin Hope was a key figure in the British motor industry, being Chairman of T&N and later President of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. He was also a keen car enthusiast, his speciality being Armstrong Siddeleys, and this 1935 model is one of several from his collection. H&H says this model is ‘arguably the most exotic Armstrong Siddeley ever produced’ and it would be hard to argue with that – just 253 were made, of which 30 or so these aircraftgrade Hiduminium alloy cars survive.
