One of 1973’s top films, American Graffiti, reflected a coming of age teenagers’ melee of cars, girls and generally cruisin’ around in a small town during 1962, just 11 years earlier. But even then the world of Deuce Coupes and ‘55 Chevys seemed like a long time ago.
