Bumper entry for club mag awards
National Car Club Awards director Lee Masters says that of all the categories in which club members could nominate, the Outstanding Club Magazine of the Year was the one with the most nominations.
‘It’s good to know that members appreciate the time and effort that it takes for a club to put a magazine together,’ he says.
The winning magazine will be revealed at a glittering prize giving ceremony held at the NEC on 1 April, during the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration show. The shortlisted entries are:

❚ J-type Review Morris Commercial J, J/B and 101 Register CCW’s editor David Simister, one of the award judges, says: ‘ The standard of magazines submitted by the clubs this year has been extremely high, which is going to make picking out a winner especially tricky.
‘What these excellent publications prove is that rumours of the club magazine’s death have been greatly exaggerated. All the shortlisted entries prove that the printed magazine is positively thriving in 2017.’
