DUTCH SHOW’S TEMPTING BRIT DEALS

-

1957 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith €35,000 (£30,035)

This SWB James Young Wraith was previously owned by composer Vangelis – hence the Blaupunkt stereo and Motorola graphic equaliser mounted in the rear. It’s a right-hand-drive UK market car too, so it’d be an easy one to repatriate. www.retrolegends.nl

1963 Triumph TR4 €28,000 (£24,000)

There was plenty of evidence of dealers pushing prices up beyond what you’d expect to pay in the UK, but this TR4 was good value. The bodywork’s in very good condition, and with the exception of some slightly faded leather trim behind the seats, the cabin and dashboard appear to have been well looked after too. www.imparts.nl

1984 Mini ‘Cooper’ homage €7500 (£6500)

This 1275cc model looks like it’s been well looked after, and if the 32,481km on the clock is genuine, it’ll have years of classic adventures left in it. The 13in wheels won’t please the purists and there’s some tape covering up a sizeable rip on the driver’s seat, but it’s a sound car with none of the usual Mini rot spots. www.classicminisbrunssum.nl

1991 Jaguar XJS €16,495 (£14,300)

The 211,191km – 131,000 miles – on this Jag’s clock didn’t count in its favour but it seems well priced for its condition. With the exception of a few stone chips on the bonnet, the paintwork’s in very good condition, there’s no sign of corrosion and the leather trim and wooden dashboard have both been well looked after. www.imparts.nl
