MIKE BREWER WHEELER DEALER

‘I’m ready for another great weekend at the NEC. And what makes it so great is that I get to meet so many like-minded individuals who, like me, just want to keep as many classics on the road as possible. We’re all on a rescue mission, even if it’s saving just one car at a time.’

ANT ANSTEAD NEW WHEELER DEALER

‘I can’t wait. This show gets the mechanical juices flowing. It’s a fantastic weekend with diehard classic fans. The cars are unreal, and the barn-find display blows me away year after year.’

JAMES WALSHE ASSISTANT EDITOR, PRACTICAL CLASSICS

‘ The real heroes of the show are the hundreds of club members who give their time and energy in the pursuit of sharing their passion. Regardless of the type of classic you own – or are thinking of buying – these dedicated volunteers are available and willing to share their wisdom and enthusiasm to visitors throughout the weekend. Talking of heroes, come to the stand and you can see the stunning restoration of the 30th Lotus Esprit S1. You know, the one that Roger Moore took for a dip in the Med’…’

DAVID SIMISTER EDITOR, CLASSIC CAR WEEKLY

‘For me, the auction looks really exciting. I’ve taken a look at some of the cars on offer and I can tell you there’s going to be some pretty intensive bidding. Of course, the show is much more than that. I’m also very supportive of the Skill Shack workshop theatre and the demonstrations on the club stands - it’s the sort of know-how our hobby needs. Seriously, maintenance is a hugely important part of our passion so it’s also worthwhile getting yourself along to a show like this. As much as your pride and joy is a faithful companion, every now and then it can be prone to letting you down. Get yourself to the show.’
