1949 Land Rover 80in Series I

This pretty cheerful project example of an early Land Rover was shabby rather than rotten, and while the paint was going home the panelwork wasn’t too bad, and neither was the interior. The auctioneer said that the chassis and all-important bulkhead appeared to be in good order while the seats and dash panel were correct for this model. Here was a delightful find worthy of ongoing attention rather than immediate thorough restoration.
