Described in the catalogue as a ‘very tidy example’, this car’s first lady owner kept it until 2005 and it had still covered just 26,800 miles from new. The history was good, with bills tallying up with stamps in the service book, but it really impressed with its condition – the panels and deep, shiny paint were first-rate, likewise the seats, door cards and dashboard. Clearly, demand for sporting Fords has yet to show any sign of abating.
