Don­ing­ton His­toric Fes­ti­val gets in­ter­ac­tive

Spec­ta­tors at this year’s Don­ing­ton His­toric Fes­ti­val will get the op­por­tu­nity to get be­hind the wheel of some of the clas­sics. Tak­ing place at Don­ing­ton Park Cir­cuit on 28-30 April, pre­ci­sion driv­ing leg­end Paul Swift (Russ Swift’s son) will be of­fer­ing stunt driv­ing lessons, teach­ing peo­ple how to do J-turns and spins. The stunt driver will also per­form a trib­ute to

The Ital­ian Job, with a high-speed stunt in­volv­ing three clas­sic Mi­nis. Vis­i­tors will also be given the chance to try drift­ing, and would-be rac­ing driv­ers can ex­pe­ri­ence pas­sen­ger rides in some of the lat­est Cater­ham Sev­ens. Event or­gan­iser Richard Grafton, says: ‘We are hugely ex­cited about the changes to the 2017 event. With these in place, we truly be­lieve this year’s fes­ti­val is go­ing to be the best one yet.’
