Cars that caught our eye in this week’s ads

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

BMW Z3

1998, £2750 ono, Engine 1.9, two owners from new, 83k, service history, MoT ‘til July. BMW club member, 07768 965110, Worcs

p48 BMW Z3

This hugely popular roadster appeared in a number of different guises and although the 2.8-litre version is more fun, you won’t go wrong with this 1.9. Club member status is usually a good sign.

FORD GRANADA

1983, 105,000 miles, £3800 ono. Engine professionally rebuilt 500 miles ago, incuding conversion for unleaded. Electric windows, sunroof 07973 194471, Essex

p49 Ford Granada

The recent work on this motorway cruiser sounds good. It was regarded as a little bit boxy, but we rather like the look and the German build quality of this model is something to admire.

JAGUAR XJ

1996, 79,000 miles, £4990 ovno. Well loved and looked after; only driven at weekends. New s/s exhaust, original alloys, 07739 395755, Stirling

p51 Jaguar XJ

CCW readers know only too well you can get a lot of car for not too much money when it comes to XJs. This rings all the right bells when it says weekends only and a new s/s exhaust. Worth a look.
