Strippers: Cars For Cash

This provocatively-named TV series may conjure up nostalgic memories of a misspent youth, but the premise of the show is actually far more provocative than that – it’s about scrap. In this National Geographic series (the same channel as Fuzz’s Car SOS) two teams choose a car to break, then see who can make the most from selling the parts. A wide selection of cars can be seen during the series, but in this episode, (series two, episode two) British classic lovers may wince because the cars being broken are an Austin 1300 and a Ford Cortina. It might seem like sacrilege, but both are rotters, and at least the parts are being recycled. Narration is by actor John Challis, best known as Boycie from Only Fools and Horses.
