1982 Porsche 911 Turbo
Away from his radio, TV and film star roles, Peter Sellers was an ardent car collector, at one time employing Bristol Cars supremo, Tony Crook, to manage the acquistions and disposals within his ever-changing fleet. This 911 was one of his later cars, sold by Maltin Car Concessionaires and featuring numerous Sellers-specified details, including some chrome parts painted black, sports seats and a sunroof. The car was bought by the vendor in 1987 and recent work includes a top-end rebuild. Driving well, the bodywork is said to be showing its age and some of the interior could be improved, but nevertheless here is a highly tempting 911.
