1962 Jaguar E-type fhc project
Unashamedly needing everything – the peeling paint and exposed metalwork was a clue – but for the E-type-hunter wanting an off-the-radar car, this fitted the bill nicely. Off the road since the mid-1980s and last run 16 years ago, the good thing was that the cylinder head and block tallied with the Jaguar Heritage certificate. The interior wasn’t too bad but mechanically and bodily there was work ahead. How extensive that would be remains to be seen.
