Comedian Peter Sellers’ old Porsche 911 Turbo headlines at Bonhams’ Festival of Speed auction

Bonhams’ Festival of Speed sale is more than just an auction – as with its other Goodwood sales it’s a social occasion where the great and the good from the international old car movement gather. True to form, this sale brings together a striking selection of cars from across the decades, some of which have fascinating histories, including the 1936 Alfa Romeo 6C special and the Bentley 8-litre Sedanca, while an unrestored 1962 Jaguar E-type FHC should throw down a marker of where this model’s values are going. Also likely to show market trends is a selection of Porsches, ranging from a 1952 356 to a 2010 GT2.
